A Little About Me
As a middle school Spanish, English Language Learners, and Yearbook instructor for 6 years, I was blessed with the opportunity to put my passion for teaching and technology to good use. I continually searched for new ways to incorporate emerging technologies in the classroom and had a blast doing it.
In 2014, I completed my master’s degree in Educational Technology (with a 4.0 GPA), opening my eyes to the world of online education.
Joining the district and building technology committees allowed me to share my tech skills with others. I enjoyed helping not only my colleagues, but my students with technology as well.
In 2016 I was nominated for the district education association’s Teacher of the Year award.
I resigned from a physical classroom in 2016 in order to take my skills online and spend time with my daughter.
As one of the original members of the Create Your Laptop Life freelancers training program and support network, I gained the not only the skills to run my own online business, but the passion to help others run theirs. The best part is, if I don’t know how to do something (doesn’t happen often!), I have a connection to an entire network of marketing experts to help me get the job done right.
