Someone has joined your mailing list. YAY! To welcome them, you want to give a special offer for a limited amount of time. The question is, how can you set up legit scarcity when everyone signs up at different times? Since the URL changes depending on the day, I recommend hyperlinking text or an image to avoid confusion.
This process will work in any situation you want to offer something special for a specific amount of time or until a certain date. Examples off the top of my head include:

- Fast-action bonuses during a course launch
- Limited time discount on a second product after their first purchase
